Privacy Policy

Adam Worklog ("the App") is a personal work-log application that helps workers track their own hours and generate timesheets. This policy explains what data the App collects, how it is used, and your rights.

Information We Collect

All data is provided directly by you within the App:

  • Employee information — Your name (required) and, optionally, your email address.
  • Employer information (all optional) — Employer name, contact email, contact phone number.
  • Work sessions — Timestamps of when you clock in and clock out, used to generate timesheet reports.
  • Anonymous account identifier — When you first open the App, an anonymous account is created via Firebase Authentication. This identifier is not linked to your personal identity; it only associates your data on our servers with your device.
  • Push notification token — If you grant notification permission, the App stores a device token (provided by Firebase Cloud Messaging) so we can deliver clock-out reminders.

We do not collect:

  • Location data
  • Device contacts, photos, or media
  • Financial or payment information
  • Advertising identifiers

How We Use Your Data

  • To display your own time-tracking history inside the App.
  • To generate the timesheet PDFs and SMS reports that you choose to send to your employer.
  • To send clock-out reminder push notifications, if you've enabled them.

We do not share your data with third parties for advertising, marketing, or analytics.

Where Your Data Is Stored

Your data is stored on Google Firebase (Cloud Firestore and Firebase Authentication). Google's privacy practices are described at https://policies.google.com/privacy.

Data Retention

Your data is retained for as long as your account remains active. You can request deletion at any time — see the Account Deletion page.

Your Rights

  • Access — Your data is visible in the App at all times.
  • Deletion — You can delete your data in-app or by email; see the Account Deletion page.

Children's Privacy

The App is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from children under 13.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent change.
